The Challenge
Gravy Workforce Technologies, Inc. (“GravyWork”) has linked Florida-based organizations and agencies with top-tier temporary talent in the staff augmentation sector for years. Through their GravyWork platform, they provide user-friendly tools to post and fill positions with qualified talent on an as-needed basis. So, when the St. Johns School District in St. Johns County, Florida, needed clerical, customer service, educational, and general labor support, GravyWork knew they could draw from their labor pool and exceed district expectations.
GravyWork’s team had strong pre-established partnerships in Florida. They were ready to vouch for their qualifications and exceptional client support services. GravyWork goes above and beyond to ensure their talent is vetted and qualified to perform client work– not only does their app support workers with an easy, organized management system, but they also provide their talent pool with GravyTrain certification courses.
Although they were well-equipped with talent and resources to provide their services, they wanted to ensure their bid would professionally and accurately represent their organization. They needed professionals who could help them tell the story of their business in a way that would resonate with the evaluators.
So that’s when they decided to turn to the RFP experts at The Bid Lab.
The Solution
GravyWork’s unique approach, experience, and variety of tools made it easy for our bid writers to shape the direction of their narrative. We developed new content, including a fresh training overview, to highlight how GravyWork invests in the success of their temporary personnel. This narrative brought GravyWork’s story to life; we were able to describe how GravyWork provided additional training and capacity without incurring additional costs for employers and organizations.
Throughout the entire process, The Bid Lab’s team worked in tandem with GravyWork’s various stakeholders and departments, including their training department, insurance provider, mobile application team, and HR team, to provide substantive responses. We wanted the proposal to provide a comprehensive, top-down overview of the resources, processes, tools and training that GravyWork offers their clients.
Their multi-pronged approach to staff augmentation services is what continues to make GravyWork a success. We worked collaboratively with their teams to create fresh narratives and content. In the end, we helped them develop a compelling case for the contract. Together, we were able to help them arrive at competitive pricing and ensure full compliance with the district’s proposal guidelines.
“Within two weeks, The Bid Lab was able to assist our team with building a successful proposal. Not only did we receive a pre-award recommendation, but we also have new content to add to our brand library.”
– Alex Atwood, CEO, GravyWork
