Georgia Southern University is accepting bids for a supplier to provide a fireworks display at Paulson Stadium.

Scope of Work

Georgia Southern University is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide a firework display at Paulson Stadium during home football games. The goal of this procurement is to issue a five-year contract to the awarded contractor.

Minimum Requirements

• Perform at all home football games. The 2023 schedule is listed below.
  • September 2^nd
  • September 9^th
  • September 30^th
  • October 21^st
  • October 26^th
  • November 18^th
• Provide a demo before the start of each football season. The demo needs to be an example display of the effects that may be used at any point during a football game. 
• Minimum two technicians on-site at every home football game.
  1. Arrival must be a minimum of 3 hours prior to kickoff.
• Must be responsible for basic setup and cleanup of the launch area including policing the fallout zone for any unexploded ordnance and removal of all equipment and debris used in setup.
• Minimum use of six 48MM mines per game during the national anthem at every home football game.
  • Mines must be Red to Crackle, White to Crackle, and Red, White, and Blue to Crackle
  • 6 48MM mines/game X 6 games = 36 total mines for national anthem
• Minimum use of fourteen 48MM mines per game used during the football team entrance at every home football game.
  • Mines must be Blue to Crackle.
  • 14 48MM mines/game X 6 games = 84 total mines for team entrance
• Minimum use of four 48MM mines per game used for Touchdowns at every home football game.
  • Must be prepared for up to 10 touchdowns per game.
  • Mines must be Blue to Crackle.
  • Estimate of 120 mines per season for touchdowns.
• Minimum use of four 48MM mines per game at the end of every home football win.
  • Mines must be Blue to Crackle.
