Liberty, Missouri Pyrotechnic Services RFP
The City of Liberty, Missouri is requesting proposals for a turn-key, electronically fired pyrotechnic display held on Monday, July 3, 2023 at sunset. The display takes place at the Capitol Federal Sports Complex of Liberty. Concurrently, the fire point is located at a neighboring pasture atop a bluff overlooking the Sports Complex.
Pyrotechnic Display Requirements
The cost of the pyrotechnic display proposed shall be a not-to-exceed amount of $35,000 that shall include, but is not limited to, any costs such as permit fees, freight, labor costs, and the like necessary for the conduction of the display. All proposals shall remain firm through the event date of July 3, 2023.
Fireworks display should include the following:
- 25 minute turn-key fireworks display
- Electronic firing system, with hand-firing available as a back up
- Aerial shells from 3” – 10”
- No low fireworks
- A faux finale
- A grand finale
- Shells that are unique in design
- Lastly, choreographed to music and a way for the music to be played at the event site (radio station, app, coordinated play on a music file, etc.)

Submission Information
The Administration Department will receive the sealed proposals at Liberty City Hall, 101 E. Kansas Street, Liberty, Missouri, until 10:00 a.m. on December 29, 2022.
