State of Pennsylvania EMS High School Pilot Program RFP

The Pennsylvania Department of Health is looking for a vendor to implement an Emergency Medical Services training program for high school students who are in at least the 9th grade to increase the number of individuals capable of becoming EMS providers.

Scope of Work

The Grantee shall design and implement an Emergency Medical Services training program for high school students who are in at least the ninth grade to increase the number of individuals capable of becoming EMS providers.

The Grantee shall operate the EMS pilot program by entering into an agreement with a school entity or nonpublic school, or both, for the provision of instruction to students who are in at least the ninth grade.

The award applicant shall submit to the Department a final written report withing 30 calendar days after the end date of the Grant Agreement. The final report shall include, at a minimum

  • Identify the activities proceeded according to the project plan and explain any deviations from the project plan.
  • The number of high school applications received for the EMS pilot program.
  • The number of high school applications approved for the EMS pilot program.
  • The number of students actually served by the EMS pilot program.
