The State of Texas Public Relations and Marketing RFP

The Office of the Governor of Texas is looking for a vendor to provide public relations and marketing strategies targeting consumers, media and the travel trade in Australia and New Zealand.

Project Description

The Office of the Governor of Texas is looking to use the most innovative, creative and cost-effective marketing and public relations programs to raise awareness of Texas as a premier travel destination. The contractor will effectively utilize advertising to develop and expand travel packages to Texas with the goal of increasing job opportunities and revenue.

Marketing and Public Relations Requirements

The contractor shall have the following goals while providing public relations and marketing services:

• Generate maximum positive press coverage of the Travel Texas product
• Expand the perceptions of the diverse travel experiences Texas offers visitors
• Develop and implement a robust social media strategy that successfully promotes the Travel Texas product
• Generate measurable results from public relations and marketing efforts
