They provide a range of quality commercial, high-tech and residential cleaning services by approaching every project with a team-oriented approach.
“The constant flow of changes—six amendments and due date adjustments—would have made this entire project way more daunting if we’d managed it alone. The Bid Lab’s team kept everything on track. They helped us make sure that everything from the required list of trade secrets to all 15 of our resumes was well formatted and in compliance.”

The Challenge
American Cleaning Service, a multi-generational family business with over 75 years of experience, identified a complex proposal opportunity that required a response to a lengthy and detailed Scope of Work (SOW).
American Cleaning Service knew they needed expert support to ensure compliance and a high-quality submission. This opportunity, which required a minimum of four years providing janitorial services for commercial office spaces, was a fantastic way to jump back into competitive contract proposals. They were a perfect fit!
However, they also knew that the requirement to create a redacted version of the proposal, format numerous resumes for key personnel, and manage the complicated portal submission process would be challenging. Worse yet, they were going to need to keep up with multiple changes to the solicitation, including a steady slew of newly issued amendments (six in total!) and timelines.
In short, American Cleaning Service needed a team that could help them create and submit a response package that would pass inspection. These cleaning experts needed perfection– and at The Bid Lab, we know how to build a clean, fresh bid.
So that’s when we got to work!
The Solution for American Cleaning Service
The Bid Lab stepped in to provide comprehensive Bid Manager services, integrating expertise to manage the multifaceted requirements of the proposal. Our team rolled up its sleeves and got to work developing, drafting, designing, and submitting a bid that responded to the solicitation’s lengthy and detailed SOW.
The documents had numerous compliance requirements and stipulations, so our team of writers, designers, and editors thoroughly reviewed the drafts to ensure their work met the standards! The redacted version of the document needed a keen eye, as the solicitation required a separate list of trade secret information with corresponding page numbers.
Our document coordinators and project manager continued reviewing and outlining each new amendment and due date. As due dates continued to move, our team kept working on the required documentation.
We helped their team format a total of 15 resumes in addition to the two versions of the proposal. Finally, we offered submission assistance by helping the client understand the portal for self-submission.
“The Bid Lab team was essential in managing every single element in the entire complex proposal.”
-Eli Schmeoger, President/Owner, American Cleaning Service
