New York Lawn Care and Maintenance Services RFP
The Office of People with Developmental Disabilities Contract Management Unit on behalf of Finger Lakes DDSOO is soliciting sealed bids from responsible and qualified contractors to perform Lawn Care and Maintenance Services at various residential homes located in Ontario, Schuyler, Seneca, and Wayne Counties
Scope of Work
The scope of work includes but is not limited to Spring Cleanup, weeding, mulching, mowing, trimming, and Fall Cleanup. Concurrently, all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to professionally complete the service are to be supplied by the contractor.
Additionally, the Contractor shall not assign or sub-contract all or any part of said work without the express written permission of OPWDD’s Business Office Administration.
Accordingly, references, experience, financial resources, and applicable insurance are required. The bidder or its principals must be able to provide references that verify they have 2 years of relevant experience.
Lawn Care and Maintenance services detailed in this Scope of Work will be paid by one seasonal price, spread out over six (6) equal installments.
The Bidder must visit any and all sites they wish to bid on. OPWDD will make no allowance or concession to the Bidder for any alleged misunderstanding or deception because of quality, character, location, or other conditions. It is the responsibility of the bidder to know the site(s) requirements based on the service being requested. The telephone number for each site has been provided. It is the Bidder’s responsibility to set up an appointment with each House Manager to determine the specific requirements of all aspects of the sites in relation to the service to be provided.
