How All Learners Network Completed a 107-page Proposal Over the Holidays

All Learners Network (site) is an established education organization based in Burlington, Vermont. Looking to acquire new business, they asked The Bid Lab for help pursuing a new opportunity over the holiday season.
All Learners Network Needed a Stress-free Project Timeline
Kicking off a major project is stressful. Kicking one off over the holidays? Not exactly a walk in a winter wonderland. But that’s exactly the timeline All Learners Network was looking at for their latest proposal response opportunity.
“With so many commitments, our team members are already planning ahead by the time the holidays arrive,” says All Learners Network’s Chief Financial Officer and Facilitator, Chris Singleton. Although experienced with proposals, this was their first time working with the Bid Manager team at The Bid Lab. In fact, that previous experience is partially what brought All Learners Network to our team in the first place: they had learned how complex and time-consuming developing a proposal response could be.
And so, with the holidays quickly approaching, the company sought The Bid Lab’s assistance. We were ready to help All Learners Network develop a project management schedule, executive summary, and overall content and design enhancements that would help them sleigh the season’s competition.
But first, we developed a plan to keep the project on track.
A Tight Schedule With a Side of Content Enhancements
Recognizing that their biggest challenges centered around keeping a complex project on track over a holiday period, our teams quickly got to work.

As we prepped previous documents for compliance, we realized we’d need to update the content to create a modern, sleek executive summary that featured previous clients. We created corresponding graphics highlighting their client base to go along with the enhanced executive summary. The “Our Clients” section was something new that The Bid Lab brought to the table, which delighted the All Learners Network team.
With All Learners’ impressive track record on full display, we turned to custom graphic design enhancements from The Bid Lab’s professional in-house designer.

Thanks to The Bid Lab, the client submitted a 107-page proposal well within the 28-day timeframe.
